Privacy policy

This policy explains how the Tablume publisher ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Tablume – Website Downloader Chrome extension, this policy page, Pro licensing and customer support.

1. Website content and browsing information

When you use Tablume, it accesses the selected page's URL and content, including text, images, stylesheets, fonts and hyperlinks needed for your requested archive. The side panel displays the selected website and its icon. Linked-page mode may open temporary background tabs to capture related pages using your browser's existing website session.

Archives are prepared in your browser and saved to your chosen download location. They can include source URLs, captured pages, asset files, timestamps and a report of captured or skipped resources. Tablume does not send page content, browsing records or downloaded archives to a publisher-operated server.

We do not maintain a general browsing-history database. Page and resource URLs are processed for displaying the selected site and completing the archive you request. Captured pages may contain personal, financial, health, location or communication information if that information appears on a page you choose to save. Tablume does not separately analyze or profile those categories.

The capture code removes input values and textarea text from the saved copy, and disables scripts, frames and forms in the archive. This is not a guarantee that all sensitive information has been removed. Review your saved files before sharing them.

2. Information stored on your device

Tablume uses Chrome's local extension storage for:

• Capture preferences, asset selections, page and size limits, and save-location preferences.
• The number of completed free downloads and temporary download-session state.
• A randomly generated installation ID and your signed Pro license.

The license may include an issuance date, installation ID and purchase reference. These are used to validate access on that installation. The extension does not collect your PayPal password or card details. It does not implement advertising analytics, keystroke logging or mouse tracking.

3. Website requests and permissions

Saving a page requires network requests to the websites and asset hosts involved. Those services receive normal request information, such as your IP address, and apply their own privacy practices. Direct asset requests omit credentials; pages opened in normal browser tabs may use your existing session and load third-party resources. Some resources that cannot be saved may retain online links in the archive.

Tablume uses activeTab and scripting to capture the selected page, sidePanel for its interface, downloads to save and track its ZIP downloads, storage for preferences and licensing, and favicon to identify the selected website. Optional HTTP and HTTPS host access is requested when starting a capture so pages and assets on different hosts can be retrieved.

4. PayPal payments and WhatsApp activation

Payments are processed on PayPal. To activate Pro, you send your activation ID and payment proof to our WhatsApp support chat. We receive the information you choose to send, which may include your phone number, display name, messages, transaction reference, payer information and information visible in your payment screenshot. PayPal may also make transaction information available to us as the seller.

We use this information to verify the purchase, issue a license, prevent duplicate fulfillment, handle replacement requests and respond to support or payment disputes. Activation is manual. Share only the information needed to identify your payment; do not send passwords, full card numbers or unrelated financial records.

5. Use and sharing of information

We use information only to provide and support Tablume's website-downloading, payment-verification and licensing features. We do not sell personal information, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.

Information may be processed by the payment and communication services you use for your purchase or support request. Other disclosure is limited to what is necessary to provide the service, address security or fraud, or comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not give the publisher access to your locally saved archives unless you choose to share files with support.

Tablume's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Human review is limited to information you voluntarily share for payment verification or support, or other purposes permitted by that policy.

6. Retention and deletion

Local preferences, usage state and licenses remain until extension data is cleared or the extension is removed. Downloaded archives remain in your files until you delete them; uninstalling Tablume does not delete your downloaded ZIP files. Clearing extension data or reinstalling may require a replacement license.

Support messages and purchase/license records are retained only as needed to provide support and lifetime-license administration, resolve disputes, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it is needed. PayPal and WhatsApp may retain their own records independently.

You can request access, correction or deletion of information you have shared with us through the contact below. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or dispute-related reasons. Deleting records needed to associate a purchase with a license may affect our ability to provide replacement-license support.

7. Your choices and security

You choose which pages to capture and which assets to include. You can decline or revoke optional site access in Chrome, stop a capture, delete downloaded files, or uninstall the extension. Declining required capture access prevents the relevant download from completing.

Local archives can contain sensitive content, and anyone with access to your files may be able to read them. Keep your device, license and payment proof secure. No storage or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. This privacy-policy website

This page does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, sign-up forms or application cookies. Its hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information to deliver the page and maintain security.

9. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy when Tablume's features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current policy. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate extension or listing update.
